Nasa Mission Badge

I wanted to create an imaginary mission badge to brand the book with as every Nasa mission gets its own badge, from looking at a lot of the existing mission badges that have been used I started to come up with some of my own designs, I kept my designs within a circle as 90% of nasa badges are done this way. Many feature a symbolic of more realistic depiction of a space shuttle of some sort as well as "whoosh" shapes to make them more dynamic, in the end I started to experiment at making these sorts of layouts using the roman numerals from the name of the mission. I think the of I've chosen is really effective, it definitely fits in with some of the other badges Nasa have used and I think it has that sort of Masonic feel to it which it quite fitting.
