Poster and Monthly Listings

I've taken the shapes and colour out of each individual flyer to create what is essentially a key that refers to them all. By giving each event a shape and colour it allows my to display them all together in this way which I think is really effective. It also lets the branding of the venue stand out for itself and will look really stylish and minimal up on the walls.

More Well Flyers

More onto a slightly different progression with these ones which I'm really happy with, I think they're all starting to work really nicely as a set and I'm thinking a bit more intelligently about the decisions I'm making.

Layouts with Photographs

I feel like adding photographs of the headlining artists to each flyer is a great way to give a real identity to each flyer and make them a lot more dynamic. Also it helps communicate who is actually playing if the band is recognizable to their fans. At first my main problem was that having colour photographs was making my system of colour coding shapes really obsolete by I've overcome this by desaturating all the photographs so they look like much more of a set.

Looking at simple layouts

I only want to use one colour (and maybe black) on each flyer, here I was looking at the best way to display the shape and the amount of text I need to more aesthetically pleasing and using the space given the most effectively.

Josephs Well Concept Ideas

I really want to create a system for developing flyers for events fast and systematically. At the minute I'm playing with the idea of having a shape on each flyer that will change everytime. The inital idea would be to add another side to the shape each time to create a progression, but this method wouldn't work for many more than 6 repetitions as the shapes start to look the same.
