I really wanted to communicate how huge and diverse the British music scene has been over the last 60 or so years and I was thinking about how many people appreciate this by having collected a huge record collection over the years. I think the idea of a record collection might be something that is quite suitable for this brief as i tends to span many years as the collector keeps buying and the tracks on my CD will represent many different eras in time.
