

This was a live brief that me & Phil had done the initial ideas for on a very short time scale, in the end we didn't get the job but we really liked what we had done so decided to extend the brief into the creation of a full brand, we wanted it to stand out in sea of club flyers all with photoshop swirls and girls in bikinis. It needed to be exclusive, but simple and beautiful. Also it needed to be an idea that could work across different events through changes to colour and detail. We liked the idea of a deck of cards and collectables, building up your deck and also the feelings of excitement and risk associated with gambling which is where we came up with the central emblem. We thought that this went really well with an isometric grid and a tight colour palette. To finish the brief with a real exclusive and personal touch we designed our own rubber stamp and used it to make hand stamps business cards to be given out for discounted entry to the event.
